Bollywood will have to wait: Wasna

Wasna Ahmed loves every minute of her new found fame. Even if it means, juggling two soaps and working long hours.
Bollywood will have to wait: Wasna

Wasna Ahmed (TOI Photo) In her debut project (thats Kasautii...) she got to work with small screen superstars Hiten Tejwani, Shweta Tiwari and Ronit Roy.
What has that experience been like? I used to watch Kasautii... When I was chosen to play a role in the show, I was over the moon. Everyones been very supportive and helped me perform better, says Wasna cheerily.
A student of commerce, Wasna is still in college and juggles studies and shooting comfortably.
And where did acting figure in her scheme of things? I have been interested in acting since childhood. I love acting and dancing. I have attended theatre and dance workshops in Kolkata, she elaborates.
Will the petite lady work outside Balaji Telefilms? If something really good is offered to me, then I might. But I will ask my producer before committing to any other production house, she says earnestly. Does she relate at all to the characters she plays? I am as innocent as Kinjal and talkative as Dhara, laughs Wasna.
Quiz her about the increased competition and her optimistic take is, Competition should be taken very positively. More competition means better work and more opportunities.
For someone who hero worships Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan on the big screen and Rajeev Khandelwal on television, a per-fect film would be a complete romantic one with Hrithik Roshan, she drools. But wait, Bollywood is not on her priority list as of now. For the time being I want to concentrate on television. I want my shows to be successful and be on-air for a very, very long time, chips in Wasna.
Heres hoping so too!
